HOVERGUARD HTI RESCUE VEHICLE WITH AIR CUSHION with two four-stroke engines, 998 cc (1.1 litres), which develop 165 HP each at sea, a 12V electric system with 90 Amp alternator. Two 875 dca battery, with cold start and main switch with OFF-1-BOTH-2 positions.

Thrust structure comprising two 28" (711 mm) tubed fans with nine blades, with air straightening grids activated by V-shaped toothed belts made of Kevlar; ten cable-activated aerial rudders and removable fan guards. Hydraulically controlled splitting plates with electric buttons mounted on the helm, enabling the setting or variable rise and thrust parameters to control the speed and the air cushion during movement. Electronic displays on the instrument panel show the position of the splitters.

Combined rise and thrust air system with untreated service cushions, drag flap mounted to the rearc, six replaceable hardened aluminium runners. Winter windshield made of rigid glass, structure coated in gel with a large curved windshield, two side windows with roof plus windshield wipers and washing system.

Kevlar and Carbon Fibre for the inner hull, with glossy gelcoat® finish. Non-slip cabin floor, 5' x 13' (150 cm x 400 cm), with cabin wall height of 18" (46 cm). Central bench for crew and passengers.

Fast reacting helm, accelerator lever; hinged instrument panel with tachometer, timer, engine oil pressure gauge and coolant thermometer, electronic terrestrial induction compass, voltmeter, fuel gauge. Four mooring bollards, eyelets, one at the prow and one at the stern for the winch. Double breakwaters with fibreglass flaps.
Double stroboscopic flashing lights (red, blue or amber), while lighting all around the tubes; red/green navigation lights in the prow.
Four 5' handrails, two folding boat hooks for mooring, two ring buoys; light with an intensity of 500,000 candles.

Deckhouse – vinyl housing with side windows made of clear vinyl with fast release and fastening devices; the whole unit is supported by a tubular aluminium frame. Combined and optimised panels.

Hull protection packing – comprises five 7" x 3/16" strips of high molecular weight polyethylene or UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), riveted to the bottom of the hull from the prow to the drag flap. Protects the hull from damage caused by sharp ice, abrasion from sand and collisions.

Combined siren and speaker system - comprises a 100-watt amplifier with 3 tones per siren, noise reduction microphone and 100-watt wide-angle speaker.

Heater-Defroster - marine heating unit and fan unit connected directly to the engine cooling system with pipes protected and equipped with adjustable outlets on the instrument panel aimed towards the windshield.
