HOVERGUARD HTI AIR CUSHION RESCUE VEHICLE powered by two motors 4-cycle, 998 cu. in. (1.1 liter) V-eight engine developing 145 HP each at sea level. Overall width of hard hull structure: 8' (2.44 m); Overall length: 19'3” (5.87 m). 12v electrical system with 90 amp alternator. Dual 875 cold cranking amp batteries with battery master switch giving OFF-1-BOTH-2 positions.

Thrust frame comprising twin 28 " (711 mm) ducted, nine blade fans with air straightener arrays driven by Kevlar core Vee tooth cog belts; ten cable-operated air rudders and removable fanguards. Hydraulically controlled splitter plates with handle bar mounted electric push button switches allowing variable lift and thrust settings for speed and cushion control on the move. Electronic displays on instrument panel show position of splitters.

Integrated lift and thrust air system with rough service skirts, rear mounted drag flap, six hardened aluminum replaceable skid rails. Winter windshield comprising rigid fiberglass, gelcoat structure with large curved windshield, two side windows with short roof; plus windshield wiper and washer system.

Woven roving fiberglass inner hull with glossy gelcoat finish. Flat cockpit floor 5' x 13' (150 cms x 400 cms) overall with 18" (46 cms) high cockpit sides. Two triangular vinyl cushion seats mounted one on each side of 4’ (122 cms) long centerline padded crew seat.

Fast-reaction handle bar steering, twist grip throttle; hinged access instrument panel with tachometer, hourmeter, engine oil pressure gauge and coolant temperature gauge, fluxgate electronic compass, voltmeter; dual fuel gauges, 40 US gallon (150 l) capacity fuel tanks. Four mooring eyes, one bow eye and one rear winching eye. Twin fiberglass tail fin style waveguards and splashguards.

Twin strobe flashers (red, blue or amber), white all-round light on ducts; red/green bow light.

Two 5' grab rails, two collapsible grapple poles, two ring buoys; 200,000 Candlepower spotlight.

Payload with standard equipment listed above: 1,200 lbs. (544 kgs)

Rear Cockpit Enclosure - vinyl enclosure with clear vinyl side windows and quick release snap fasteners, over tubular aluminum frame. Zip-in panels.

Hull Protection Package – comprising five 7" x 3/16" strips of Ultra High Molecular Weight (UHMW) polyethylene riveted to bottom hull from bow to drag flap. Protects against damage to hull from rough ice, sand abrasion and some impacts.

Combined Siren and Public Address System - comprising 100 watt amplifier with 3 siren tones, noise reducing microphone and 100 watt wide angle speaker.
