HTI Hovercraft has revolutionised the rescue system… presenting a vehicle that shoots the rescue system forward into the 21st century. Allowing rescue workers to act quickly in emergencies in areas unreachable using other vehicles, Hoverescue is the ultimate rescue vehicle. HTI Hovercraft, Inc., the original manufacturer of hovercraft in the world, took four years to develop Hoverescue, which went on to win the Hoverclub of America's 1999 Innovation Award, an award for innovative inventions.

Hoverescue incorporates all the features needed for a quick, safe rescue in flooded areas, on ice and mud. Its ability to hover nine inches off the ground, ice or water, enables rescue in just a few minutes as opposed to hours. "Hoverescue is designed and equipped with the crew and victims in mind", explains PhD Ing Passoni. "It’s the safest, quickest and cheapest rescue vehicle and also the vehicle that puts the crew members at least risk as they hove above danger".

Hoverescue is a 4-passenger vehicle, weighs just 470 lbs and is 12 feet long and 6/8 feet wide. Its low profile (just 45 inches) eliminates difficulties caused by overhead obstructions and reduces wind resistance. It can reach speeds of up to 50 mph on the water and is the only hovercraft with the same maneuverability as a helicopter, also reaching high speeds in reverse. "Sometimes the only escape route involves reversing and HTI is the only company that offers this important feature", says PhD Ing Passoni. Hoverescue saves thousands of service hours and is designed for really easy maintenance.

"Conforming to all the United States Coast Guard safety standards, Hoverescue combines the best features of a boat with those of a helicopter", says PhD Ing Passoni. "The optionals include a trailer, cab and equipment for all types of communication. HTI takes care of certification (a service which is charged separately) and free training. Moreover, the hovercraft can be delivered either completely assembled or partially assembled to suit limited budgets.
